I recently took my 500 on an airplane. I figured since it's built for portability, then i may as well take advantage. It was awesome. Night before i left, i chopped up a few new samples, loaded em in and got to work once i was on the plane. Made me a pretty dope beat. It made the 4 hours from Boston to Salt Lake City alot more bearable.

Only thing was, was in my carry-on backpack, and it made the security machine freak out. It had to be x-rayed individually.

The thing really is excellent for portability. Battery-power worked perfect, and the thing stood solid as a rock.

Yeah screw those oversized 2500s. Those things would snap the airplane tray tables right of the hinges.

i had mine on a trip from sweden to new york, orlando and nicaragua a month ago and it's well worth it, **** the security in the us though, other than that the only thing that troubled me was an old lady in the seat in front of me complaining about me "kicking her in the back" haha

Yep, Both times I brought mine on flights, I was also pulled aside and asked to "Remove the device from it's case, " So that they could scan it individually. If you are flying with your MPC 5, make sure you give yourself a few extra minutes at the security checkpoint.
