MPC SYSEX & CUBASE

Hey i been trying to do some sequencing on Cubase SL with my MPC2000XL and i've noticed that it doesn't record track mutes and the STEP & BAR cursors don't progress the sequence forward and backward in Cubase either, like they do in Reason.

Doesn anyone have any answers for me?

I want to be able to record track mutes and other MPC Sysex data onto Cubase.

I could be mistaken but I dont think that the MPC sends out midi messages for the Track Mutes & Solos. Anyone else can confirm. Easy way would be to check your midi rack equipment and play a MPC sequence and mute and unmute the tracks and see what gets sent (if anything).

Make sure you use blank tracks as well. Also if you see something being sent, go google midi-ox and download it(if you have a computer) and basically sniff the midi message with that software and you will have the answer to your question as well as knowing what message it actually sends.
