My New MPC60II!!!!

I just talked to the guy with the LE and I am pickin it up tomorrow!

Cool...the 3K and the 60 are for sure the best MPCs.

I hope one day to get my hands on an LE but ill settle for a regular 3k. I think eventually ill move up to the 3k with valixi 3.50 os and be really satisfied. But until then its mpc 60II steez for me. Good luck with that LE 714.

was this about the 5000 using 3000 parts? so what, its the first mpc to sound good since the 2000 non xl?

I am actually picking it up tonight. It 's in perfect condition and has not been used in years. It's basically brand new not one scratch. It was Itaal Shur's like 4 yrs. ago and he produced Maxwell "Asencions" and Carlos Santana's "Smooth" feat. Rob Thomas that won a Grammy.

You should just stick to one MP , you switch up mad son.

No im pretty sure he was sayin dude had an MPC 3500. And that akai changed the name to 5000. read it again

mpc 3000 is 16 bit sampler with 32mb max ram with filter and delay effects, scsi comes standard, and rohan mansell has made the 3.50 valixi os upgrade for it with numerous new feautres and improvements

vs.

mpc 60 is 12 bit sampler with 1.5mb max ram, and scsi and mpc3000-like 3.10e os is an upgrade.

Not at all. I was stating that the 3k has more capabilities in the box than the 60. But also, premier uses the s950 as well... but discussion is done.
