Whats up peoples! I have an mpc1000 midi synced with my yamaha motif. This may be an easy question so i apologize in advance. I need to know the proper way to save a sequence to my mpc. the tracks and sounds that are played through my motif are midi. the tracks and sounds from the mpc are selected as drum. When i save the sequence it gives me the option to save midi data or mpc data. i have midi data selected. when i come back to load the sequence it is out of wack. I have to go back to the motif and select all the sounds i used for the tracks. Is this normal?

Save the sequences and what not in the mpc and also save the sounds in the motif. Thats how I use to do when i had my 2k and pk-6 connected to each other.

Example:
I would save the sequence(sometimes samples to if i used any) as something like crunk beat or w/e. Ima just say Beat 1.
Then on the PK-6 I would save all the sounds I used as Beat 1 also so when i loaded up the seq again in the mpc all i had to do was go to Beat 1 saved sounds on my pk-6 hit load and they are loaded up. All like I left it.

Just my way of doing it.
