saving beats/making folders

I have one beat saved to my internal memory so far.The next beat i make i want to make sure i dont accidently erase the previous beat that i made like i have done before.How do i save a beat(songs&seqs/programs...) without erasing the entire memory to save another one?would turning autoload off be a wise idea?

organization my dude..try saving to different folders, you won't overwrite anything

Alright i will start doing that before i make a beat...creating a folder for it

i work like this

[year]
[month]
[beat]

so for example, i got a main folder that is called 2008 with a folder in it called january with b01 to b20 or something.. and so on for every month

Thats a good process to work by,but what do you mean one main folder?where is this one main folder located?I want to make a new folder and put my one beat in there so i can begin on other beats.But im scared as hell I really dont want to accidently erase this beat cause' im feeling it.You save your beats on your internal memory right?I mean i read the manual but that doesnt seen to serve me any justice on this specific topic,lol.

You have to create the folder.
