EB16 SampleVerb Multi-Effects Processor Board

I have a kind of stupid question here, but I'm in a hurry so I hope someone can give me the simple answer. Here it goes:

Does it exist different effects cards (with different functions, by different producers, with different price and with different quality) for the MPC2000xl, or is the EB16 SampleVerb Multi-Effects Processor Board the only one that exists?

The reason why I'm asking is because I'm buying a MPC2000xl and the guy says that the machine has a "effects unit with flanger and a chorus unit", and I asked if it was the EB16 and he said he guessed so.

Anyway, is it possible for me to do something wrong here, or is the simple answer that if the MPC2000xl have effects, then it has the same EB16 board as all other MPC2000xls have around the world?

The only other available effects card for the 2kxl is the SampleVerb which is actually the name for the EB-16 on the U.S.A.

eb16 is the only one I know about.
