new foil and still no light

Just installed a new foil in my s900 and the screen is still not lit. Any one know what the problem is?

he said he just installed the foil in his "S900" - not a 60/3000!!

Double check solder joints and foil connection polarity, i think if you got the wire switched around you might not get light, maybe someone can confirm this? The display inverter might also be a cause. Call forat see what he has to say?

Where is the inverter located in the case?

Im not sure where it is in the s900, but i think the wire coming off the backlight foil should run to a circuit board where the inverter is located. Call Bruce Forat on Monday and he should be able to help you out.
