Go to record mode, change "Rec in" to "Main", hit "do it" and then play your sequence. You can then chop, loop, and add effects to your new sample.

I've been haveing problems with looping. I can not figure out out to loop without it matching the bars in a sequene, is that possible?

For example: Turning a 4 bar sequence into a 2 bar loop? If that's what you mean, resample the sequence and either trim it to be half of the length or use note on and sequence it as needed (hold it for 2 bars or whatever) if that's not what you mean, let me know.

Yeah, just turn timing correct on, program your sequence to 10 bars, hit record, and hit the pad that contains your sample (with one shot turned on) once every 2 bars. Then, it will loop it since it's sequenced to do so.

Or turn the play mode to note on, and in trim mode turn loop on. Then just hold it while recording and that should work too.
