mounting problem!!! AAAAUG!

what's up everybody, i haven't posted for a while, but i'm having a problem mounting my mpc to the mac i have. the drive won't show up no matter what i do. if somebody knows this would be GREATLY appreciated!

Does the CF show up?

how much time did you give it? Sometimes it takes forever for my mac to recognize it.

i had this problem too. format the card in the os. highlight the memory card, then hit window, hit f2 to format it.

And if he isn't using the CF Card, will the same trick work for the HD?


Just a few things to check

verify if you are able to connect another USB device to the MAC? Camera, Jump Drive, External HD, etc.

Do you have any 3rd party software running that is used for a USB device?

If you have a PC, go to "my computer" and you may find it registered there.

I got a new usb cable and that solved it for me. Good Luck!
