Pad control

EG - I have a number of samples on the pads, how do I make the first pad i touch cut out when i touch the next pad? Pretty badly explained but you get the idea.....

I'm not in front of my MPC1000 but I think I can remember by looking at the image!

I think its F3 for programs
Hit the pad that your second sample is on. In the bottom where it says "Off Off Off Off" click down to the first "Off" and hit the pad that the first sample is on!

My bad madd confusing but I'd explain it better if I was in front of it!

Assign those two pads to the same mute group. Then they will cancel each other out like you want.
