PROBLEM WITH OS DISK

I HAVE THE NEW 2000XL AND MY BOY HAS THE 2000. WHEN I TRY TO LOAD MY ZIP IN HIS 2000 IT SAYS UPGRADE OS DISK OR SOME SHIT LIKE THAT. SO I DOWNLOADED THE NEW OS DISK AND TRIED TO USE IT ON HIS 2000 AND IT DOESNT WORK. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

i dont think you can do that type of stuff between 2 different models. I could be wrong though...........................

For the 2000 you need OS 1.72 which is the most up to date anything other than that dont mess with it. You cant use the OS for the XL on the 2000

can i load my beats on his mpc if i did them on the xl?

the sequences I believe you can load up on his the samples if they are in .snd yes but the 2000 will not load .wavs as part of a .pgm if they are .wavs youll have to load them one by one and assign them manually to pads.

The mpc2kxl can read all files of the mpc2k

the mpc2k can only read follow files of the mpc2kxl
