Creating a drumroll

I tried to run a search for what it is im trying to do. the problem is i dont know what its called

to make a long story short how do i turn a snare into a drum roll
where i can hold the pad and it will play the sample at a high rate
like 1/8-1/16 notes and so on. i know its possible i just can seem to stumble upon that

Hold down the "note repeat" button and tap the pad you want to play repeatedly. Or, just play the pads really fast.

you gotta have quantize on when you do that, then it rolls at the quantize level.

When you download the manual type in "T.C" in the search field of the pdf manual.....it should pop right up. Also another method is to sample a dope drum roll and chop it to work with your track.
