Hi
I just bought a new mpc1000

and i would like to know how to take my songs from the mpc and transfer them to the pc in an audio file (mp3/wav).
When i save a beat and a song in a flash card, the file type is different.

Do i need a midi and a sound card that has a midi interface?
or is there another way of doing it with the usb or somthing.

I also want to know about the jj-os

what is it exactly?

Thank You

Question...Do you or have you ever recorded audio before? If not, you have to do some connecting of outputs to inputs. I'll leave the rest for you to figure out.

what im trying to say is that i made a beat from the mpc1000.
how would i put that beat into my computer so it is ready for the internet or something. Like in a wav or mp3.

basically i wanna record a sequence into a wav so i can play it on my computer.

I have never recorded audio using the mpc or any other audio equipment.

If you have a two track editor program or a multitrack program you're in. If not, try this for starters...http://www.google.com/search?q=free+2+track+audio+editing+software&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
