PCD-25 or PCD-15 are examples that have been been talked about many times.

Got another zip drive from a local used electonics store now I keep getting "Sorry, this file (or possibly the entire disk) contains damaged data. For safety, transfer any other good files on this disk to another disk and stop using this disk". Never saw this message before. Could it be a bad drive? Saves fine. just on loads. 100Meg disks and drive. Thanks

Possibilities include:

Bad SCSI cable.
Bad or fluctuating SCSI termination power from ZIP drive while saving.
Bad READ CACHE on the ZIP drive.
Bad ZIP drive.

Tried using the power supply from your other ZIP drive ?

Sounds like a faulty drive to me. ( although trying another power supply with the drive could be worth a shot )

Guy charged me 12 bucks without a scsi cord or power supply. I left the bad drive there. He said he had a few of them so i'll go switch. This has me thinking about one of those card readers dude had for $75 and your os upgrade. Or even going for that mpc 5000 to move into the future and away from this floppy and zip shizzel!!!!

The card readers are all gone! But I found a couple on Ebay the other day so there are still alot of card readers out there.
