what is the best way to tie the MP, dj mixer and a turntable to sample?

Use monster cable show laces, they are very capable when tied tightly.

ok so i plug my tt to the mixer... mixer's record out to mpc's record in...
and just to listen to a record on the tt.. gotta go to sample menu?

It would be helpful if you break down your setup/gear so that
someone familiar with that gear might come along and help you out..

For 2k and 2kxl, yes.

i got 1210..some cheap mixer and 2000xl...

Oh ok. 2kxl, needs to have the sample window active for the inputs to be active.

In the 2kxl manual at the front there is a picture diagram for a common setup of gear with the 2kxl, you should check that out.

download the manual from "www.forat.com/service"


Also look around tweakheadz.com for other setup practices and LOADS of other info.....
