music do you lot make? I see mostly hiphop here.
I'm into downtempo/slow beat hiphop/lounge-y type sh-t, but I mostly, almost exclusively, make techno.

oh also, nice to be here on the 1000 forum...seems like you all have a good thing going! looking forward to making this a part of my online routine.

yup.. a lot of hip hoppers here.. including me.. altho sometimes (if i geta little bored) i kncok out a drum n bass track... mpc is great for that....

Exactly what I do is still an open question, but:
- it's not hip-hop
- it's not techno
- it's not industrial
- it's not much good. Yet.

Drum n bass with a dub flavor for me.
I like that track cut out. Nice combination of voice and tek sounds.

Yeah i do.. click the www button on the bottom of any of my posts Theres a lot of pre-mpc random experimental crap on there.. so go for the ones posted up nearer the top (ie the tournament ones) altho some older stuff is petty decent too...

I make alot of different kinds of music but i love hip hop.... Im hoping to get up some of my MPC beats up soon.

right now im dwelling on that ATCQ sound back from the days of real hip hop. alot of horns,flutes,piano loops and erie basses are the highlight of the majority of my songs. im really kind of in a throwback phase.

cheers man, i will be posting more stuff done with my girlfriend on the site soon, i'm going to re-launch it with a virtual record label (i.e: lots of free mp3s split into 2tracks per release - kinda like a 7" label without the vinyl! ) very soon, so keep an eye out.

I use and love Logic for production, and I use Reason a bit rewired, but i'm just tired of mouse clicking and looking at a computer screen to make beats. at my job I look at the laptop all day. it's hard to do that when I get home. btw, you got any beats online?

mostly i want to put together a techno live pa with the mpc...that's why i bought the thing.

I do stuff for myself, mostly a hobby I guess though a few labels have shown interest before.... don't always have the time to push it but I've been doing a lot more lately. Got a soundclick page too though the stuff on there is mad old, new stuff going up soon. (link at the bottom)
