Recording From MPC To Computer

I have just copped my MPC 2500 and basically my sound card on my Pc has just died on me...........I was thinking about getting an external audio intefrace.
When I have finished my beat and I am happy with it, can I record through an audio interface into my computer from the MPC or can i just save the song I have created onto my flash card, then load it on to wavelab or something?!
I just want to know really if i can record through an interface with the mp, or just save the song on the flash card.

Of course you can record on the pc interface!

I do not have the manual so I can't tell you if you can bounce audio tracks onto your flash card. ..but I don't think it's possible

is this only possible on the 2500?

i'm looking at getting a 2000 and avoiding purchasing an MTR. so can i go through an interface and record a beat that i've made completely on the MPC onto my computer? and also, can i load samples onto my MPC this way, or do i have to do that through the disk drive?

i'm just trying to figure out the easiest way to work out my setup with me having to buy the least shit.

and if this IS the setup you would recommend, whats a good recommendation on a cheap interface that will give me everything i need for this purpose?

I just wanted to reply to the recording a track on the CF card. You can resample the sequenced back into the MPC 2500 and save the ".wav" file onto the CF card and drag and drop it onto your desktop and edit it in any program of your choice. I didnt have a "suitable" interface for recording when I first got my MPC 1k and I tracked a lot of beats that way but instead of saving to my CF card I saved the file to my hard drive.
