MPC 3000 trun off by his own??

Hello!

I need your help!!!

If I turn my MPC3000 on, everything is o.k. After a few minutes, the machine begins to turn off for a short moment and boot up again.

But mostly the MPC turn off and on and is not working anymore. All little red lights are (very weak) on and the display is grey. The backlight is on but also very weak in this state.

After this the machine need about 4-10 Minutes before it´s possible to boot up without grey screen and little red lights.

It seems that has nothing to do with a thermal problem. Because sometimes the MPC working for 1 hour and the other times just for 5 minutes, before it turn off.

It´s a US-MPC and it is connected to 220-110V convertor for Germany.

Runs OS 3.08. I have remove all the old 16MB ram and original Mutec Ram. I have replaced it with new 32MB, but the machine still got the problem.

Your Power Supply sounds like it's going out or there is some short or something.

I second that statement.

Power supply probably has some intermittent components or dry solder joints.

Power harnesses may be making intermittent contact at their respective socket/connector level also.

Pretty common on these machines after a while.

Easily serviceable .
