8-out routing

sometimes I route the pad banks to the outs like 1a,2b.3c.4d.when I change the outs all in one(all channel) some channels are stereo routed,showing 1,2 or 3,4 and so on...even if these sounds are not stereo.is this a kind of automatic routing or a failure??

Well when it's ST it takes up 2 outs obviously and when it's Mono it only uses the one so I don't understand what your gettin at?

Huh? If the samples were not Stereo then the MPC wouldn't say 1/2 3/4 and so on the outs.

are you aplying any effects to them? all mono sounds that are bus'd to the eb16 will return in stereo.

got no eb-16....as the samples are routed automatically the sound seems to have one ´dead´ stereo channel....

you win...they are stereo-but one channel is dead.and I havent set this on stereo,its out of a sample library and set itself to stereo.......do I got a magic mpc???

THe sounds you are using are Stereo already you need to convert them on the MP to mono or on the computer and then select which out you want that pad to play out of.
