when i try to sample from a record all i hear is a nasty hum .anyone know what what this is. i made sure everything is hooked up right even tryed multiple cords still hummimg. any in put would be great.

A turntable connected directly to the sample inputs on any sampler other than a MV-8000/MV-8800, MPC-4000 or MPC-5000 is no good. This is a RIAA certified preamp, take advantage of this or any turntable mixer with a RIAA certified PREamp! PLEASE!

cha money get a mixer with a preamp

or get an oldschool amplifier with phono imputs
