I'm not in front of my rig, so no guarantee of accuracy. (Plus y'all aint payin' me anyway)
From the MP sync window make sure transmit sync is set to Midi Time Code, and that the right cable (ABCD) is selected. Make sure that 30fps is selected. I don't know if it matters but make sure receive sync is off.
In Pt under Windows > Session Setup, make sure 30fps is selected. Make sure the tempos are identical in PT and on the MP. I don't know if it matters, but make sure transmit beat clock is deselected under the MIDI pull-down. On the transport bar, click on the the little clock icon in top left hand corner. This will arm PT. Press play on the MP and you should have sync.
This should work if your midi is set up properly.
Hit me if you're still having problems.
Peace
