Aksys for vista?

There may be some hope for Vista soon.
I was talking to my brother last week, and he told me there will be some sort of a (newer) backward compatibility patch to make Windows XP apllications work again.
Hopefully this backwards compatability mode isn't as sh!tty as was included in Windows XP. I've had quite a few old Akai applications that wouldn't work in XP at all. So keeping an old PC tucked away for certain applications was a must.

Check Micro$oft's website regularly. The patch may be available soon (or atleast some info).

Well, if it works that would be sweet. In the mean time Im transferring files the hard way....

any update on this? i'm about to buy a laptop and wondering if Aksys works with Vista now...
