I have 3.08 on the blue 1000 and I'm using a Lexar 2gig CF card. My projects won't load now. I can get my samples and my autoload folder to work but if I just want 2 load a song that I saved as a project - nothing. Can anyone help with this? Do I need 2 upgrade my OS or is it the flash card?
Thanx Fam,
T. Mash

is this your first time using the flash card on your mpc, or your first time using it with jj (used it with old os)? I would say that it is the flashcard. Akai is very picky on what brands they like to have work. Try a kingston or sandisk.

I just got a SanDisk this morning. Will I be able to take the backup files from my PC (they were created w/ the Lexar) and use them now that I changed cards? Or are the actual files corrupt?

I got the SanDisk & 128 mb ram... the songs won't load - I have them all as audio files on my PC so I can recreate them. I'll save kits & songs as autoloads from now on. My samples work and my autoload folders work just fine. I think the Lexar card was just trash.
How do I put pix on here? I painted my end caps & carf slot. Looks way better than the red.

when the wav files are on your computer, can you listen to the sound? I agree that the lexar wasnt the mpc's best friend, but i still dont see why that would corrupt the file.
