how do i track my beat if each sequence init has diff tempos

before i track out into cubase it only asks for 1 tempo........there has to be easier way than bpm matching each sample

In ProTools you can set different tempos. Check your Cubase manual too see if it does. Good luck

maybe i worded my question wrong.....my problem isn't that my song is in way different tempos and i wanna fix it(example sequence 1 tempo-51.1
sequence 2 tempo 91.1 ans so on)










my problem is that my sequences vary in 1/10 of a beat each

seq 1-91.1

seq 2-91.0

seq 3-91.2

how do i get said song into my daw without all the sequences being set to the same tempo and cutting out prematurely

I use Cubase as well. If you look on the transport under the BPM setting there's a tab where you can set the tempo to be "Fixed" or to follow the "Tempo Track". Left click on this so that it says "Track". If you press ctrl+T it'll bring up the tempo track (It might be in the "Tools" scroll down menu along the top of the main window), it's a window - It's a little finicky (As in, a pain in the A**), but you should be able to make the tempo change in increments at least as small as the MPC can handle... Make sure yr time code or SMPTE and MTC settings are all good (I usually use the MPC as a master because It seems to track more reliably as far as starting in sync goes) and you should be all set.

Sorry if I got some names or functions wrong - I don't have a copy of cubase on this computer to check against, it's really early in the morning and my three year old is already running buckwild. I hope this helps.

you can also record into cubase regardless of the tempo, and just loop em up that way. not as effective though.

Thats how I track out because my computer is too slow to midi sync

im still trying to figure out why the **** your sequences are off by 1/10th of a beat. why would you do that
