can someone please walk me through the process of making a program i have looked thorugh the manual already!! I JUST NOTICED I HAD BEEN PLAYING EVERYTHING LIVE!! that means i didnt even put my drums and samples on different tracks.i thought i was off on a foot but i just regressed please give me any tips you have on anything. 8)

u make a program by going mode -> program -> select name field -> press window -> hit new -> name it -> then assign samples to the different pads (which i assume u can do)... go to main -> select track u want the program on -> select the program in the program field and play away.. good idea to save as ur going along too.. personally i use the autoload approach but u can save the individual programs as u wish..

Create Sequences by selecting a Program for one or more Tracks, set up Time Correct if you want it, and record your playing. Chain Sequences together in Song mode.

But we're not gonna tell you what to play, natch, you wouldn't agree with our advice anyways..! :twisted:

What about folders? Should each program reside in its own folder?

If u wish them too.. check out the other post by stereoid floating about, about the mpc workflow to find out advantages and disadvantages of takin the autoload aproach or folders... and how to get the best of both..
