On OS2, I started a new program and loaded pads 1-15 with percussion. I loaded a 20 m sample into pad 16. I went to trim and extracted a small piece of that to make another sample. Then I sliced the extracted little piece into 3 and made a new sliced samples program. When I went back to the main screen and hit pad 16, which was assigned to the original long sample, the first of the three slices from the new program created with the original sample played back. I hit the pad once, and it repeatedly loops according to the start- end points and with each repeat, the volume decreases slightly until the sample is heard no more. Alternate loop is not on. The sample that should play wheen 16 is touched is the uncut long original one. This is strange to me. If anybody knows why this is happening, please help. It is actually a cool effect so if you guys can explain it to me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Sorry for the poor grammar.
