Okay, I've been checkin' out OS2 v. 0.90 now and I'm wondering what the purpose of the Track Mixer could be. Because when I you want to use it,
you must turn it on, which bypasses the Filter Settings made in GPE and everything sounds different in terms of eq'ing. The only thing I can think of using it for would be some sort of a / b comparison. Or did I miss something?
How and what for are some of you using it?

PEACE

EDIT: Taking a closer look in GPE, i realized, that the Track Mixer setting groups all 16 Pads of a program and gives you the control over Level, Pan, Output, FX and Send, before its sent to the Master section. Ahh... I see... could be interesting :)

what? this does not happen to me at all, filters stay as you assign them.

iit's a nice mixing console
tap the pad corresponding to the track and use qlink1 for pan, qlink2 for level

track mute is a real handy screen, and it's got 2 views, the mode4 track mixer and the track list

very nice

Ive been finding the volume and pan levels jump when i go into track mixer screen, and im pretty sure its got something to do with qlink position before you enter that screen.Ive reported this already so let us all know if people are experinceing something different. thanks.

i THOUGHT it wasn't happening in .90, is this true?
i'll have to check again

i can't live w/out track mix mode though
i no longer use pgm mix at all, except on drums

yeah this was fixed in .90/.91, qlink positions must be reupdated before making any changes in TRACK MIXER now.
