Tried using the pattern mode to arpeggiate my Jupiter softsynth
Pretty useless considering the tune parameters don't change what's goin out of midi....

pity :(

previous versions of pad pattern had "pad" or "tune"
we only now have "tune" which uses qlink parameters
i would greatly prefer "pad" or simply "midi note + or -"

"pad" caused a problem, hence no more assign from main screen.
i'm hoping we will be able to assign patterns to programs like we do samples.

i'm compiling a nice, handy bug report for os .91
(i intended to do this last night but i fell asleep at 6 in the evening...can you believe it? slept til 7:40 like fk it)

i'll ask whether it's specification that dictates this
they tried pad before, i'll ask if midi note was attempted
but i will make no requests, only observations

I would also like the pattern's tune parameters to change the midi notes. I'd like to be able to plug my HW synth to my MPC1000 and then create some nice and tight basslines with it and then sample them back into the MPC.
