OS2 V0.9:

If I try to copy & paste one row, the paste function seems to always paste the notes to their original location, no matter what. The notes also start sounding louder after each paste and there's a bit of phasing, which indicates that the notes are indeed pasted, but to their original locations.

BUG: wrong sample displayed upon TRIM OPEN from GPE.

1 - load a drum pgm with 16 samples on bank A
2 - enter MAIN SCREEN
3 - hit pad A01. enter TRIM. NOTE: sample assigned to A01 is displayed in TRIM.
4 - re-enter MAIN SCREEN. hit pad A09. enter TRIM. NOTE: sample assigned to A01 is displayed in trim.
5 - NOTE: sample of "tapped" pad is always displayed in trim from MAIN SCREEN. this is good.
6 - enter GPE, on tab f1 "SAMPLE".
7 - hit pad A01. enter TRIM. NOTE: sample assigned to A04 is displayed in trim.
8 - re-enter GPE. hit pad A09. enter TRIM. NOTE: sample assigned to A12 is displayed in trim.
9 - BUG: when TRIM is entered in GPE, selected sample is LAST of displayed 4 samples.

BUG: "scroll" behavior different in midi grid edit/grid edit

NOTE: "[GRID DRUM] Even if OS2 changes "Timing Correct", a view does not change." !!! this is very very good. previously, it was very hard to use a grid when TC=OFF. now it is easy again. thank you.

however, a bug is introduced.

1- FOR REFERENCE: enter midi grid edit.
2- turn TC off. zoom all the way OUT.
3- scroll across sequencer. NOTE: cursor moves in increments of 32 ticks.

NOTE: in midi grid, cursor moves in increments depending on ZOOM.

4- enter 6 pad or 16 pad grid edit
5- turn TC off.
6- scroll across sequencer. NOTE: cursor moves in increments of 1 tick. this is very slow.

NOTE: in 6/16 grid edit, cursor moves in increments depending on TC. this is good. EXCEPT for TC off, which is very slow. 1/32(3) is much much faster than TC off.

SOLUTION: for TC=off, move cursor in increments of 8 ticks [1/32-(3)]. for all other TC values, keep the same increments!

2 many pages 2 read thru 2 see if this is already posted ... but in OS2 v. 0.91 if I set loop to 8 bars, then when i'm recording bar 7 of the main window grid page always shows up with the beats half a beat offset, but when you look in the actual grid edit page then they're shown back where they should be

also sometimes when i go back from changing a pad sample within the program edit window the sample on the pad i've just changed changes again to an entirely random one

the ring modulator mix level can sometimes be a bit odd ... if you turn it down to one, the sound just pans hard left

also, would it be possible (1) to extend the ring mod wave below 100 hz (2) to use different waveforms ... the square wave doesn't seem as useful as the sine one

After some time you cannot select 1/8 Quantize...

Hold Note Repeat, press F1 for 1/8. If you worked some time on a project it doesn't work all of a sudden.. STRAAAAAAAANGE

This is not really a bug, but more of a request...

1.press play to start sequence
2.use pedal assigned to punch/record
3.record track (internal pads or midi, doesn't matter)
4.use pedal to punch out of record
5.next sequence does not work


I would love to be able to switch sequences after recording (of course when punched out), this would allow me to loop myself live while still keeping the structure of the song.

In the same vein :

1.press play to start sequence
2.use pedal assigned to punch/record
3.record track (internal pads or midi, doesn't matter)
4.use pedal to punch out of record
5.ERASE button does not work.

It would be great if I could quickly erase all data in a track while the sequence is running, for the same reason as posted above.


Does anybody know how I can get this request to JJ? I'm pretty sure it doesn't take up much code space, and it would be a great improvement for all of us playing live instead of in the studio.

In the Sample / Out page, the fx send level to the flying pan and the tremelo effects doesn't seem to work

Yeah i've had same problem.

small graphic bug in GPE :
when whole (D1-D16) is selected pressing C13 or C14 will make "filter" and "lfo" changing color.

os 2 v1

timing correct swing bug.
1..turn t.c. off
2.record and play/ overdub and play. play some pads.
3.enter t.c. menu
4.select swing value greater than 50%
5.fix, do it etc.
6.t.c. is applied at 50%
bug: swing is not applied to timing correct after recording.
note: swing is applied when t.c. is on during recording.

click volume bug
1.turn click volume less than 100
2.bug:click volume does not change.

note :when click volume is greater than 100, volume does change.


pad pattern
1.tune cannot be changed into chop.
2.tune cannot be higlighted with cursor

os v1.01 these two are still there:

OS 1 v. 4.99b:

GPE: [WHOLE] Function seems to have be changed (and it's annoying!)

1) Press WHOLE > everything gets selected.
2) Change TUNE settings or whatever you like
3) Press a Pad to test the Setting.... All other samples are un-selected

oops i described this wrong its actually when your using a sample for your click that it doesn't work.

JJ says this one and the timing correct bug are going to be fixed in the next update, which'll be after 2500 os2 drops.

also ive noticed that whole doesn't work properly in os2 either, need to test it a little first just to check though.
