Hi all,

i really have looked everywhere!

Where has SS gone? Or does in work differently in OS2?

Is says its available in OS2 in the comparison chart of os's, but does not appear in the manual for OS2. (and it is in os1's manual)

Really hope it hasnt disappered! In os1 in was so easy to set up.

Thanks

Matt :)

i believe it's "2nd" in the main screen.
it's nested on the middle right of this page, i don't blame you for missing it

looks like murai is catching flies with this web of a page!
he's a better a job than i could do

Hi Nym,

thanks mate, so its been craftily renamed to 2nd sequence to confuse me!! hahaha.

I've noticed you know your stuff, when it comes to the MPC, so i wondered if you could help me overcome a problem i have come up against after loading OS2.

I load a kick or snare, and it sounds like it has a huge delay effect on it, if i just tap it once, where it repeats and repeats, slowly fading out. If i hold the kick down, it repeats at same volume over and over. I do not have the note repeat button held down. This does not happen in os1.

is this a bug??

Maybe i should move this to a seperate thread for other people to read incase they have same problem? i have kinda hijacked my own thread!

cheers
Matt

yo, i know exactly what you're talking about. it was the first diference i noticed between os 1 and 2. it's not a bug, just a difference.

your issue is that you've got a LOOPED sound (probably altloop on a tail)
being played in ONESHOT mode.
the mpc doesn't know when to stop playing it.
turn the sound to NOTE ON and adjust ADSR settings to get it just right.

mmm, weird, feels really messy.

when the kick for instance is in load page, if i hit play to audition it, it plays fine, just once. Then when i have loaded it, onto a pad, if i am still in load page, and hit pad, all fine.

As soon as i go to main page, it loops quite fast.

So, i switch it to one shot, and play with the ADSR,as suggested, i end up having take the release right down, but if i dont let the pad off quick enough, i get another kick playing quickly afterwards.

I just get the feeling this is a bug. Esp as this doesnt happen in os1. may be wrong though.

cheers
Matt

1, release doesn't appear as an option unless sample is in NOTE ON mode
2, it sounds like you just don't want your kick looped. why do you have your kick looped in trim in the first place? is there a purpose there? if not, just turn off the looping and your kick will play as expected.

Pop it up in the trim page hit F1, sorts it by turning loop off. keeps happening to me with some samples n not others

ahh thanks man! sorted it.

Very strange, because i wasnt switching loop on! when it was loading it was automatically switching it on for some sample, but not all.

I think that def may be a bug!

cheers for help!
