connecting my mpc2000xl and motif sound module!!! help pleas

hey guys first of i want to say i enjoy this forum its very informative..recently i was given some good production equipment consisting of a mpc2000xl, a motif rack sound module, and a roland ed pc -70 midi keyboard controller... now my question is ( and i hope im in the right forum) how do i connect all of these things so i can hear the sounds from the motif while playing the beats thru my mpc 2000xl...i understand how to chop, load, save beats and so forth mainly because of the information here on this site. so i know you guys can help..can somebody show me some sort of diagram how all of this equipment is linked together..also the midi controller only has a midi out.. thanks in advance

thanks lampdog for the help....im currently downloading a manual now....i pretty much understand that the midi carries the signal and not audio but its just getting all of the gear to work with each other thats the problem...maybe im confused but shouldnt the midi controller have a midi in instead of just the only midi out?
