I just recorded an 8 bar piano sample off an oriental cd (very phat) but now I wanna record my drums on other tracks.my problem is how do I get the drums to sound right, not too fast or not too slow. because when I record them freely, they sound right at some bars and too fast, it's a big mess up. is there a way to get the drums right in time, perfectly sapaced out.

The MPC will quantize anything you play as long as the timing correct function is enabled. Is that what your looking for? You can set your timing and grid resolution (ie 16th notes, 32nd notes etc) to define how you want your hits to snap to the grid.

I think thats what you mean - are you recording individual drum hits that you've played and having it fall in and out of time or are you recording drum loops and having difficulty getting them to loop well?
