Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I have a question about my mpc2000xl it has the 8 outs what kind of mixer would you suggest to hook it up with? I was thinking something like a Mackie 1202??? I dont have musch money and these are pretty chep.
Please help if you can

A mixer that has at least 8 ins.

Maybe I'm missing something B, but if you aren't using the 8-outs to track out individual tracks/sounds from your beats, or using it to tweak tracks/sounds outside the box, why bother even using the 8-outs? Just use the stereo outs, since you're not gaining any functionality with the 8-outs.

I was thinking to send each sound to a channel for better control of my sounds the eq and volume ect.

this is a great way to do rough mixes (ie, why waste time if you never end up doing anything with the beat?) but with panning your mono's you can still get way more control of your sound (two tracks at a time albeit).

I got an outs question for you all... does anyone know the voltage level the outs run at? they seem to be way louder than the stereo outs.
