I checked the search first,couldnt find anything.Anybody know what technique is used to scratch with the mpc?I saw a few videos recently.thanks

use the space scream sample, it will work better with one that can pitch bend in realtime, like the 2500. It can be done of the 2000 and 2kXL but the results are not as believable.

On 2kxl, 2k, assing a sample to the note variation slider, use TUNE, try different settings for the tune, throw a 1-2 second sample on the note variation slider, while playing a beat go at it the note variation slider, be advised that the sample is not realtime slide, it's a retrigger, so you'll have to hit the pad everytime you want the slider to change tune, up or down for the simulated scratch, takes about 10 mintues to get used to if you already know how to scratch, can be very convincing if you have played with it seriously for a while and have found good tune values and a good sample to work with.
