Im sorry for asking such a newbie question, but I did check the search feature and I couldnt find anything. Im very new to the mpc 1000 infact this is my second day with her. I have a bare bones stock mpc. I am trying to record some samples from my turntable, but it only lets me record 27 seconds worth. After I record that I cant record anything else. Is there a way to create more space so I can sample more? Also for some reason I cant play the sample back, any ideas why? Thanks guys in advance...

Cool thanks GK im gona have to pick one of those up... What about the reason I cant play the sample back in the mpc though? any ideas? could it maybe have to do with the phono, or line setting on the turntable while im recording the sample...

If your talkin' about formating/erasing your internal memory... It can't be done... Thats the first thing I wanted to do when i turned my piece on...

I was always under the impression that the MPC 1000 used some sort of proprietary memory. Ghengis is this for real?
