Main screen 4th bar position...

Has anyone noticed the 4 bar on the main screen is off from the bar? It's like there are five bars in the 3 bar count or the 4 count is half way in to the fourth count bar? I don't use quantize much but showed a homeboy some ish and quantized his test run and I explained to him the four count and when to place snares and such but I saw that even I could not get the sound to fire at the 4 count bar and that they look "off". It did not effect me because I was able to keep the beat without the quantize, but still "seems" like an issue no the less.


Any one (i hope) get what I mean?

You cant tell me you don't see this issue...

i do, but its on bar 7 as i work in 8 bars. been wondering about it couldnt be arsed to report it.

also if u set TC to 1/8 the second to last bar is alwasy out of time in the main screen but fine in grid edit.

in addition to that if u hit window over a sample in GPE the hit close it changes that sample to the last pressed pad, lost my snare n couldnt work out why for ages lol

Yup, Ive been getting the same thing....

I normally use 8 bars but because this is a 'test' system, I have been using the 4 bar set.....

yeh it is a little annoying when i look down n everything looks outta time till i realize why. can be lived with for now tho. someone should report it dont wana flood JJ with the same e-mail tho

Hey US, I just looked at the at the JJ bug report thread and someone posted the info of pretty much what we see.

hi there Hiphoppa n Undersound, I'm the someone posted these problems up on the bug report thread. I've just noticed that if you stop playback of the sequence (and wait a beat or so!) b4 u exit the sample edit window, then yr chosen sample doesn't seem to get randomly changed. not great, but it's a workaround

Me too. VERY annoying.

Hey badmark, good look, I knew there was something because my sample would sometimes be there when I'd return to the main screen. I was to lifted to realize what step I had taken to get it there. Thanks for the hook up....


I can wait, but looking forward to v.92!!!! lol!
