Stock sounds for 2500?

The official Akai product page for the MPC 2500 says
"Preset sound memory: 5MB Flash"

Does this mean a few stock sounds come on the flash memory or is it something you can program and upload the sounds you want to the flash memory?


Also I do Hip-Hop, Electronica music. Can anyone recommend or suggest some good sound libraries to get once I purchase the 2500? Any comments or input is appreciated. Thanks.

This means a part of the sounds provided on the CF card are saved in a 5 MB flash memory in the machine and loaded automatically on startup. You can prevent that by turning off Autoload, or overwrite those 5 MB with your own data.
