Whatup all? Just got my brand new 2500 but I've never really messed with a production machine like this. What I'm trying to do is use it for is a live performance. I'm trying to assign sounds from the different pre-loaded programs to the pads but its not sticking. Is there a way to assign the pads sounds from different programs and save that as a pad bank?

Don't take it personally - it's just that the same questions get answered over and over and over again.

I don't have a quick answer to your question, but I can guarantee that if you sit down with the manual you'll figure out it. It's been suggested on here to read the thing cover to cover, with your mpc on. I did this not too long ago and it was really worth the effort. I discovered features I didn't know existed, and anytime I come across something I don't know how to do, I remember some blurb about it from the manual and it's easy enough to find again. Anyway, sorry for the rtfm response, but do the cover to cover some time, it'll make all your work with the mpc much easier! Peace and love.
