Help to decide! =)

Hi everybody!
This is my first post on the forum,i'm asking for help deciding on the MPC1000,i have the M-audio Xponent mixer and it works perfect to me,i'm starting on this,i want to know if i can connect the MPC unit to my mixer as a normal thing,i'm not considering the MPD models for the computer,cause i think the MPC models have more features and i want to use the mixer and the midi trigger at the same time,is that a good choice ?? or the MPC100 is too old??cause i saw that came in january ,04.

If anyone can help me to decide please!

1st of all dont think just cus your going hardware instead of software it will make you magically better.


too old??? old is something that is like 20 years old. c'mon 4 years and its old????????????????????

even the older mpcs are still very good.

but on the friendly side

get the mpc 1000 with JJ OS and youll be more than good.

Just another question,if i connect the midi output of the MPC1000 to my xponent midi input,can i hear the mpc on the master output of my xponent mixer???
cause mi mixer doesnt have any RCA inputs just outputs and that is the doubt that i have about the MPC1000!

I strongly suggest you do some reading on the basic nature and differences between MIDI and audio signals or you will have no clue what you are doing or asking no matter what gear you get. There are a billion sites on the internet with excellent info on that, or if you are too lazy and simply must have information spoonfed to you I would suggest the "Getting Started" section of the forum where people will be far more likely to take pity on you for not doing your own basic research beforehand.

Why spend money on gear when you don't even understand the basics about how it works?

ok seems like i will need another mixer to mix the mpc1000 audio with the xponent mixer right??
casue if i plug the xponent oout with the mpc1000 in,i don't know how good is going to sound or if i can control the volume on that way is going to be right,what do you think???
