I installed the EB16 Last night

It has eq in it, but don't expect much of the high pass...

I just copped one tonight. I had one installed on my old machine and it was a necessary addition. Wish I would've kept it. You can almost use it like a synth. I used to make some crazy sounds with the eb16 back in the day.

Yeah, before I copped it a few years ago mad headz on here were saying that it was a piece of $h*t and not worth it. I went and copped it anyway and have no regrets. That card is amazing in my opinion once you know how to f*ck with the paramaters and $h*t.

a delay calculator is a must also, to get all your fx's in sync with the tempo.

I just got the EB-16 yesterday.
Yea.. it's alright. The verb is not that good, and the filter wont blow your mind. It wouldn't be my first choice in a recording, but I think it will be great for live. The distortion is pretty nice though.
Is there a manual dedicated to it?

I like the EB16, its definitely not as shit as ppl make out. I used to have a s3200xl sampler that had this same card, and now have it in my 2000xl - it gives you some interesting results, the distortion is decent and the modulation stuff like flange/chorus/phase shift works well on loops sometimes. Not worth spending alot of money on but nice to have.

That sums it up well. It's not bad, but not worth $350. either.
