unless each pattern has the same track/sound assignement..

could it have something to do with >some< patterns useing different programs assinged to different tracks but the song you converted only takes note of >one< pattern/track/program setting ...

all i know is that when i have my sequences arranged in song mode, once i play it back its fine - exactly how i want it to be.

but once i try to convert those arranged sequences in song mode into just 1 larger seqence, the mpc does it but when I go back into main mode and go to the new sequence it plays it back with different instruments and sounds...

could it be a setting on my triton?

this is a question from a reply in this forum, how can the multi & program be different?

well if u mean by more specific then on my triton the 'local control' is set to off and I am in "sequence mode" on the triton.

the triton's audio l/r are going into a mixer as well are the main outs l/r on the mpc (into the mixer).

the midi cables must be connected properly because the sequencing of the tritons instruments with the mpc 4000 works fine, anyways they are triton's midi out going into the mpc 4000 midi in & the mpc 4000 midi out going into the triton's midi in.

is there a setting on the mpc 4000 global or misc sections that i must do to get this working properly?

again my problem is that i converted my song to a sequence which plays back exactly how i want it too. but then when i go into the record page to turn this sequence into a .wav sample by choosing 'main out' it doesn't record my sequence how i want it too because it doesn't record the instruments (or sounds) I used with my triton, it only records the samples in the mpc's memory.

record main out samples only what goes out of your mpc's main out! your tritons sound don't go out through your 4k they go through your mixer! to have it all sample analog in from your mixer' main out!
