help me please

ive had my mpc 1000 for 2 days created a beat and i need to know hot to link it up to logic 8.all i wanna do is use logic 8 to record what my mpc is playing.someone help me im ripping my **** hair out,thanks

yea man, if you have an interface, hook up the audio ins then attach the mpc via midi to sync the clocks so the timing is on, other wise just plug in the inputs, hit record then time it right when you hit play on the MP.........I'd go deeper in but I just got Logic two days ago so I can't help you with details. it shouldnt be that hard though cause MIDI on macs is pretty easy. read that manual too!

thanks for your help man but i still dont understand it,i have a macbook and i cable that has one side usb the other side has two midi connectors

firewire is to me the best altough someim ght claim usb2.0

well it sounds like a usb to midi? not sure, very low budget dog, lol. just hook the out of the MP to the In from the usb set and midi will connect the clocks, but you still need an interface to record in.............................you really need to do some research man cause you've got a MPC and a Macbook, I would gotten logic pro for 500 instead of buying an MP.

Sorry to be harsh, but I just can't believe that people are buying these machines without even trying to figure out how to use them on their own. 95% of the questions posted here could be answered in the manual or with a simple google search. I could understand if someone occasionally gets one of these things and is just intimidated by it, but there must be 500 postings asking this exact same question.

Yeah, not to sound harsh but I agree.
