So, I bought a used MPC 1000. Worked fine. I put the JJ OS on it. Worked fine.

Now all of a sudden when I'm playing the pads after loading samples, the banks will change on their own. I also noticed that hitting certain pads moves the cursor around the screen, and when I hit the mode key, it changes the banks and won't work.

I contacted the JJ OS people to see if it's a bug of the program, but they haven't had any answers thus far for any of my questions. They only refer you here.

Is anyone else having this problem, and if so, how can I fix it?? Thank you in advance!!

God, I hope not! Now when I hit and button to play back in trim mode, the wave expands until it cant be seen anymore. As you know that makes tweeking a sample/edit pretty hard!

Thanks!

Its worth trying a system restore before anything else: hold down the erase key when you turn the mpc on.

I did the reset, and removed the JJ OS. It does the same thing w/ the AKAI OS, also.
