S950 Owners! (or 900)

So I did a search and came up with nothing, I have a quick and simple question, Does the s950 have a mono play option?? I know about the one shot play, but it's poly, when I hit a pad quick twice it overlaps sound....Any Help is appreciated.

Assing the samples to an output.
the outputs are mono.. and will only let one sample play..

It almost killed me until I figured it out. The 950 is mono which means in order for a sample to play stereo in a stereo mixer/interface, you will have to assign the sample to 2 seperate outs, one between 1-4 outs and one to 5-8 outs, cause 1-4 represent the left stereo field and 5-8 the right. Also, in order to play 2 or more samples on the same sequence, you need to assign each sample to each own output cause the sampler is monophonic, i.e each sample is overdubbed by another.

I believe he's not asking about Stereo samples, he's asking about the Poly/Mono setting like in the MPCs.

And the S950 is 8-voice polyphonic - only the individual outs are monophonic.

i think i gave enough information already right ?

I assigned my sample to a pad on the 2000, which I set to Mono (in 2000) Still poloy??????????? What else am I doing wrong???

yea.. thats something the 2000 can do but the 950 cannot !

go to page 10 on edit program.. and assing all shit to an output..
