Ok so here's what's going on...
I have an mpc1000 hooked up to a motif rack and I'm using the maudio 88 key to trigger the motif and the mpc to sequence. Everything works fine when I choose individual channels to record into the mpc. For example channel 1 on the mpc records channel 1 on the motif.
Now this is what I want to figure out:
The maudio keyboard has 4 zones that you can assign to four channels on the motif. Meaning you can play 4 channels of the motif at once. This makes it real easy to layer sounds on the motif and edit each individually with the keyboard knobs. The only issue I run into though is that when I select for the mpc to accept all midi channels and I hit a key on the keyboard the sound doesn't stop playing, almost as if the release was all the way up. It works fine when only one sound is selected in the zone on the keyboard, but when I select all four zones the sounds on the motif just keep playing and the only way to stop it is by hitting the stop button on the mpc 3 times.
Is there any way to fix this so that I can play all four sounds on the mpc. I know I won't be able to record all 4 sounds into 1 channel, but I figured if I was able to create the right combination and than record it into channel 1 all I would have to do is copy and paste into the other 3 channels.
Any help would be greatly apprecitated.
Thank you.
