Sup peeps Question

But first let me state I'm a HUGE pete rock fan. How many fans were waiting for this joint to drop. And after hearing it were a little disappointed?

I have damn near all of his shit remixes and such. Soul ssurvior is a classic so I was expecting big things. But I dunno this go round for a ***** that drops shit every 4-5 years I was expecting more than 15 tracks.

One thing I miss is the dirty bassey ruged feel to his drums which does not seem to be there on his new shit. His production is a lot cleaner sounding(radio friendly) mixwise and more versatile which I can respect.( warzone with dead pres is a club bangah)

But I dunno this album just aint quite what I was hoping for. What do you cats think?

Skillz killed it and that track wit RZA and GZA was tight... Classic Wu Tang sound to the beat... But overall it was pretty whack... Postaboy.... c'mon PR... what happened to be down wit the underground.

sure, the Postaboy cut is wack, and the Pharoah Monch song could be better, but you can't deny the song w/ Skillz, RZA and GZA, and the three with CL, (especially #6). and you "gotta love" the cut with Little Brother. Get it, "gotta love".....ok, that was corny, but i liked the album. not as good as the first one of course, but still enjoyable

I wouldn't say it's wack, but nothin' to compare with the 'oldschool' PR LPs....anyway, I like the track with slum village.....

i think its slammin.
been playing it non stop since it dropped.

people say this record is generic but out of all 15 tracks, there are no two drum tracks that resemble each other.
his attention to minor details is rediculous.
his basslines are still dope.

definately a different sounding record but to call it wack is mind blowing to me.

what i didnt like is his lack of turntablism on this record.
his line up as far as artists was strange too. wheres the un? wheres ini?
not what i was expecting but a dope record none the less.
