Programs and Banks Saving in MIDI HELL

I have a MPC and Triton Extreme.

I make tracks using the MPC for sequencing and samples and the triton as a sound module.

Right now I am saving the triton data on the triton (pcg, sng) and the MPC data on the MPC (all, aps) so that i dont lose the triton sound and track assignments.

Is there a way to just save all this on the MPC without losing my program and bank assignments?

I am pretty familiar with the MPC, but the manual is unclear about this.

Basically i just want to load my sequences with the triton programs AND banks in their right place everytime without having to save on both.

Can someone offer a clear step by step way to do this?

You could record sysex data into mpc's sequencer, so that everytime you load a song in the mpc and play particular sequence, the settings from triton will be recalled.

Please ellaborate. People talk about sysex and program changes alot but never go into detail. I say that everytime this topic is brought up and noone ever explains. Also I usually change sound banks directly on my keyboard, My homie changes soundbanks using his mpc program section but when I try that I can never get All the sounds out of my keyboard that I want to use, I can only get like 99 or sumthing like dat

Yeah, I've done that too, between my extreme and 2kxl before, works fine. To get all the different programs outta the triton you might have to use program changes like msb lsb settings. I can't walk you through it right now, I'm not at home.

Basically what you have to do is to make a sysex dump from your external equipment while MPC's sequencer is in the recording mode. It's good to use separate sequence for that purpose and record 1 track at a time for each individual piece of gear, each dump.
You have to obey a few rules, like 1 track at a time and tempo of the sequence for sysex dump can't be too fast so that all data is transmitted back to the unit from MPC when you want to recall settings.

how do i do a dump? can you walk through the steps?
do i have to do that for every new song?
sounds like a long process. if i do it once can i just save and load it as a template?
