Seriously, b, my record collection is thick, very thick. But, unfortunately, I hate tweaking and compressing and eq'ing and adding distortion, etc...
So, I'm looking to make things a little easier for myself.
If you don't have anything substantial to add, then don't reply.
Simple and plain.
With all due respect bro - you want some one else to do the work for you - that's weak

anywayz - no need to turn this into something it's not - my suggestion as always to a question like yours is Viynl
What's weak about wanting a sound module so as to create my own compositions? If you even took time to read my post, my first inquiry was about a sound module, which I intend to use to create my own original compositions.
I have sampled and will continue to, but I've learned music theory and how to play the piano, and now want to put it into play. Simple and plain.
All you saw was drum cd's and ran with it.
As for having someone else do the work for me, do you really think A-list producers spend their days tweaking drum sounds? Maybe in their newbie days. But, if the engineer doesn't do it, then you will find their ass in the nearest Guitar Center buying up sample cd's (or, even having some being donated to them). Do the knowledge before you speak.
Now, I don't know what kind of specialist you are in either of these categories (sound modules or drum cd's), but everyone is different.
Some folks may be mad happy and orgasmic spending hours upon hours tweaking sounds. Others may feel that it cuts in on time they could spend actually creating music. Who are you to decide which path is right and which is not?
Like I said, maybe the title of my post is misleading, but if you do a search for my name I have made many a post about tweaking drums, samples, etc... I've even contributed whatever little knowledge I have to discussions that I found fit to join.
So don't come here trying to son me.
But, other than that, it's all love on my sides.
