This is what JJ had to say about the issue :
"It cannot do to the limit of the capability of CPU.
After punch out is in the state where the recording state continues, inside MPC.
>1. assign foot pedal to punch/record or punch/overdub
>2. press play
>3. push foot pedal to punch in record/overdub
>4. record data (pad or midi)
>5. push foot pedal to punch out record/overdub
>6. next sequence does not work, neither by jog wheel or by next sequence button"
I suppose then it is impossible to change this...too bad, it really is a showstopper.
