notes are cut off all the time

I got the exact same problem as this dude:

Except my machine is a 2500. Its factory set, no changes have been made.
I've looked in the "PARAM" page and it looks like this on all pads:

voice overlap: poly
mute group: off
mute target: off off off off

What could be the problem?

Is the sample set to One Shot or Note Off?

Where can I see and change this? Have looked in the manual but can't find this.

I did find it, but it remains the same. no polyphony at all. It seems to have something to do with chopping samples up..?

How many progs / samples you got loaded?

In your LOAD Screen, do you have plenty of free memory?

I got the sample problem too.
It's seems like there's only 4 voice poliphony.

I got loaded 2 programs (rhytm section with 6 samples and sample section with a 7 sliced sample) and 128 MB Ram (over 100 mb free).

I had the same shit happen numerous times now, most random shit ever tho...last weekend I was trying to save a beat and mpc wasnt seeing hdd,:o
